Kadima leadership primary

Israel’s largest opposition party–actually larger than any party in government–holds its leadership primary Tuesday.

Current leader Tzipi Livni is claiming that the law on parties does not allow one rival to drop out and endorse the other. Can that possibly be right?

The news story does not indicate what the rule is for determining a winner. Maybe someone “out there” knows.
