Nothing but joy

In our sukkah, 5771.

“After the ingathering from your threshing floor and your vat, you shall hold the Feast of Booths for seven days. … the Lord your God will bless all your crops and all your undertakings, and you shall have nothing but joy.” (Deuteronomy 16: 13, 15)

Chag sameach!

  1. What a gorgeous sukkah! I hope the weather is cooperating better there than here! One of these days, I’ll have to find out how the ancient Hebrews built their portable housing during the little-known Antarctic portion of the Exodus.

  2. Thanks, Vasi. The palm fronds are from on-site trimmings. I suppose it’s a bit spartan inside, but it’s a pleasant temporary dwelling place.

This evening we could have used some air-conditioning! Today it was 102F, and still around 80 just after sundown.
